Building the future
Jennifer Niehouse-Fox received her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with a minor in Journalism at Missouri University.
Following over 15 years working in corporate as a Typography Artist at Hallmark Cards, and then embracing Kansas City’s entrepreneurial Kauffman FastTrac program, Jennifer turned her love of fashion into a full-time career. “It was friends and family who encouraged me to create a business around helping people with their wardrobes!”
At thirteen, my parents divorced and my mom got back into the working world. For my mom, that meant “Dressing For Success”. For me, that often meant going to the mall with my mom to help her shop for career clothes. It was like we were a shopping team and I was her wingman giving her fashion and style advice. Most mornings, as I was getting dressed, I was picking out her outfits too!
Jennifer’s business has continued to grow and be successful. Last fall, Jennifer completed UMKC’s E-Scholars entrepreneurial program and Kauffman’s Growth Venture class adding the two additional services to her one-on-one wardrobe styling; brand U and grow U.
